Steps Taken to Protect Your Personal Information

Information collected on our “Contact Us” form will not be stored on our web server.  The form will only generate an email to M & M Tax Service for our follow up.

M & M Tax Service complies with existing legislation on protection of personal data, privacy of users, and the confidentiality and security of personal data in accordance with the provisions of the law, thereby adopting the necessary technical and organizational measures to prevent the loss, misuse, alteration, unauthorized access and theft of personal data, given the state of technology, the nature of the data, and the risks they are exposed to.

M & M Tax Service would like to assure our clients that personal data may only be obtained for processing if they are adequate, relevant and not excessive in relation to the scope and specific, explicit and legitimate purposes for which they were obtained.

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

California Privacy Rights

As of January 1, 2005, California Civil Code Section 1798.83, California residents have the right to request in writing from businesses with whom they have an established business relationship, (1) a list of the categories of personal information, such as name, address, e-mail address, and the type of services provided to the Customer, Subscriber or Member, that a business has disclosed to third parties (including affiliates that are separate legal entities) during the immediately preceding calendar year for the third parties' direct marketing purposes, and (2) the names and addresses of all such third parties.

To request the above information please send an email message tomelmarientax@yahoo.com with "Request for California Privacy Information" on the subject line and in the body of your message.  The requested information will be provided in response to the e-mail address from which M & M Tax Service received the message.

A response to such written requests will be provided within 30 days following receipt at the e-mail or mailing address stated above. If a request is received at a different e-mail or mailing address, M & M Tax Service will respond within a reasonable period of time, but not to exceed 150 days from the date received.  Please note that M & M Tax Service is only required to respond to each Subscriber once per calendar year.
